Selected for GENIAC, a national project led by METI and NEDO
Muso Action has been selected for the robot foundation model R&D program of GENIAC (Generative AI Accelerator Challenge), a national project led by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
Under this project, we will deploy robots and data-collection devices in live warehouses operated by ASKUL Corporation, Nippon Express Co., Ltd., and Wakamatsu Konpo Unyu Soko Co., Ltd., collecting around one million episodes of picking and other task data per year. We will use this data to train and improve our robot foundation model, aiming to handle long-tail items spanning tens of thousands of SKUs while keeping power consumption low enough for real-world operation.
The project runs for one year, from October 2026 to September 2027. Afterward, we plan to bring the resulting model to Muso-roid, our subscription-based robot worker, and roll it out to logistics and other frontline operations.
